AMT has longtime experience in designing high performance components made of advanced materials. Each component has its own specific requirements especially regarding the increased properties. AMT helps the customer to choose the right properties and treatments of the selected material. Information about processing steps, heat treatment or machining behavior will help to realize your component.

We use the CAD-Program Autodesk Mechanical Desktop is used. Exchange of data like IGES, STEP, DXF, is possible with the usual data exchange interfaces.

Materials properties needs to be considered if components will be designed with Lightweight materials. Special machining routes and processes require a specific design for each material. Especially Metal-Matrix-Composites require new machining routes.

Brake Disc, wear-ring Steel WT-6, disc-mount Aluminum-Lithium-LF46 (AMT)

AMT offers the design of Titanium Springs with the Program HEXAGON. Linear and progressive springs designs could be made with this program. HEXAGON generates also manufacturing drawing for the Spring production. AMT designed Titanium Springs were used for the Rally Paris-Dakar, Moto-Cross WC and Street cars.
